Regulatory Authorization
In India, e-waste recyclers operate under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, which require formal authorization from the relevant State Pollution Control Board and registration under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework administered by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
- MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board) Consent to Operate — New India Recyclers is an MPCB-authorized vendor for e-waste and battery recycling and disposal.
- SEZ Empanelment — empanelled to provide e-waste recycling and disposal services within Special Economic Zones.
A Green Certificate is issued once material has been disposed of, confirming the item was processed through our facility.
Management System Certifications
These are voluntary international standards some recyclers hold in addition to regulatory authorization, covering environmental management, quality control, and worker safety.
- ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) — held.
Data Security
Data security is as much a compliance concern as environmental disposal — devices that leave a customer’s premises with intact storage are a liability until that storage has been destroyed. Our data destruction process follows industry-standard practices; a Certificate of Data Destruction is available on request.
