Our Process

From the moment a device is handed over to the moment it’s responsibly recycled, every item follows the same documented process — so nothing is left to guesswork, and nothing leaves without being accounted for.

1. Request Pickup or Drop-off

Get in touch through our pickup request form or by phone/email with what you’re recycling — a single laptop or a full office clear-out. We’ll confirm whether it’s a pickup or drop-off and schedule a time.

So How Do We Correctly Dispose of E-Waste?

Circular economy: recycling, manufacturing, consumption and use

Collection

E-waste doesn’t belong with general waste. When disposing of e-waste, it needs to go to a designated collection point — a special recycling bin, a certified collection site, or a major electronics retailer.

Sorting, Dismantling & Shredding

Manual sorting extracts specific items — batteries and bulbs, for example — for their own dedicated processing. Certain items are dismantled by hand at this stage to recover valuable materials or components for reuse.

Mechanical Separation

Mechanical separation of materials happens in multiple sequential steps, with magnetic separation (pulling out ferrous metals like iron and steel) and separation by water being the primary processes.

Recovery

Once separated, materials are readied for reuse and sale. Some materials, like plastic or steel, are directed to other recycling streams; others are processed onsite and sold directly, along with usable components extracted earlier in the process.

2. Secure Data Destruction

Before any data-bearing device moves further down the line, its storage is destroyed beyond recovery. using secure data wiping or physical destruction, depending on the device and security requirements.

3. Confirmation

A Certificate of Recycling and/or Certificate of Data Destruction is available on request once processing is complete.
